I decided to create something different from my usual art style, to me art is something treasurable and contains memories that is important to the artist. During this time, art to me was getting harder to find inspiration from and it was getting harder to stick to original goals I had set up for certain art pieces I had envisioned. Thanks to Leticia Bajuyo, my art instructor, I was able to figure out that maybe I should focus less on the planning and more on just doing. Similar to artist Phil Hansen, I needed to, "Embrace My Shake", and just create art. I decided to work with temporary art with recycled wooden boards that I cut down into smaller pieces. I used a black wooden board to create my art on top. I created images, designs and patterns in order to show how I was feeling during the time. This project helped me in understand how I truly felt and turned into something therapeutic. Each day there was a new art design, I also created a journal and wrote down how I felt before creating, during the process, and after.

After a few days of continuing this Good-Bye art process, more inspiration started to find its way back, new ideas, and styles began to rise. I felt a little less loss and more focused in my work.

I created this temporary art for a week and decided to continue with my project to see if anything changed with my emotions or creativity. All while being stressed over finals and graduation.
